Transmission characteristics:
The % transmission of these liquids varies by the liquid being used and the distance through the liquid. For the range 1500-1600 nm, the transmission is well above 90% at 1 mm. The transmittance drops off significantly between 1-10 cm.

A full set of the Series M liquids contains 20 different liquids and a half set contains 10. Each bottle contains 0.25 fl. oz. (7 cc). Listing of nominal refractive index values included in full kit given below, * indicates liquids provided in half kit:
